Join us for an unforgettable day of Windows Server 2008 training and exploration.
This time we have several different tracks and training opportunities.
Lecture only (Morning)
We are offering
places for over 100 people to join us and listen to David Hanna of
Microsoft speak about Windows server 2008. He will be doing a 3 ½
hour end to end presentation on Server 2008 that will cover just about
everything with plenty of time for demos and questions.
After lunch those who register for the labs will break into two rooms.
Track 1, Microsoft Training Lab (Afternoon) - SOLD OUT
Microsoft is opening up their training room with 20 computers. They are
planning to have the training lab open and available for us. They
will have 5 or 6 Windows Server 2008 labs ready for folks to use.
Track 2, Virtual Load Fest (Afternoon)
We will
be having a virtual load fest. Bring your own box and install
Virtual PC. We will be loading Windows 2008 onto virtual machines.
We will have over different 10 Step-by-Step labs for your use and
enjoyment. The labs and Virtual machines you will be able to take
home and complete at the remaining labs at your leisure.
The Idea is to get OUT of the office for a day and to explore
Windows Server 2008 (Longhorn), with other technical people.

03:00 - 03:45 Round Table, open discussion, lessons learned (Clyde Johnson)
03:45 - 04:00 Evaluations and Loot
04:00 - 04:30 Breakdown and cleanup

- Windows XP or 2003 and Virtual PC already loaded
- 2+ GHz Processor
- 2+ GB RAM
- DVD-ROM
- 100 GB Free on Hard Drive
At this time we have do not have copies of Windows 2008 or Virtual PC to provide so
bring your own. (RTM or Beta.)
