Virtual Load Fest
We are having a second edition of our virtual load fest. If you came to the last Windows 2008 load fest or lab fest (April 2008); you are welcome at this one, free of charge. Also, there will also be at least one significant premium member drawing at this event.
Bring your own desktop and install Virtual PC. Learn how to setup a Windows 2008 virtual test environment using Virtual PC. We have over different 15 Step-by-Step labs for your use and enjoyment created by BAWSUG. The labs and Virtual machines will be able to take home and complete at your leisure.
The idea is to get OUT of the office for a day and to explore Windows Server 2008, with other technical people.

Recommended Virtual Loadfest Machine Specifications
- Windows XP Vista Desktop with Virtual PC already loaded (32-bit only please)
- 2+ GHz Processor
- 2+ GB RAM
- DVD-ROM
- 100 GB Free on Hard Drive
Laptops did not fare well at the last event as their hard drives are usually much slower than in a regular desktop. If you still wish to bring a laptop, please finish Lab 1 before you come.
At this time we have do not have copies of Windows 2008 or Virtual PC to provide so
bring your own. (RTM or Beta.)

** Note: Everyone who paid for a labfest or loadfest seat for the April 2008 Windows Server 2008 training is entitled to a free seat at this event.
