Your Steering Committee

These are the folks who do the heavy lifting to keep our user group moving forward.  Each person represents a specific segment of the IT Pro community ranging from large corporations to independent VAR's and consultants.

We encourage you to contact any of the people below to suggest new topics, new presenters or creative events.  If you liked a meeting, tell a friend.  If you didn't like a meeting, tell us!

Ted Vahey

President

Ted Vahey is President and Chief Technical Officer for All Systems Integration.  Since 1989, All Systems Integration has specialized in serving and supporting the integration and workflow requirements of companies connected to a digital infrastructure printers, publishers, corporate marketing communications, advertising agencies, pre-press trade shops and in-plant service bureaus.

All Systems Integration is a system integrator that has been in business for over 15 years. Some of ASI's clients are members of the top printers in the world. ASI has serviced over 200 different plants across the US and Canada.

Ted received an undergraduate degree in business management and post graduate degrees in accounting and entrepreneurial studies from Babson College. He has also received post graduate certification in Digital Communication Networks from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
 

Clyde Johnson

Vice President / Training

Clyde Johnson coordinates future topics and speakers.

Clyde started out as an electronics technician and became SAD (Systems Administrator by Default) in January of 1996. Since then he has performed many different roles in IT. He is currently working as a Senior Network and Systems Administrator for a manufacturing firm in New Bedford, MA.

He holds the MCSE, MCSA and A+ certifications and has taught A+ certification classes at Newbury College.

He also holds a Bachelor of Fluencing from the Unseen University, Ankh-Morpork
 

Tim Callaghan
Webmaster/Secretary

Tim Callaghan is the Vice President of Technology at CrunchTime! Information Systems (www.crunchtime.com), a Boston based ISV creating software for the hospitality industry.  His primary focus is in Oracle design and development, although he is involved in all areas of development, technology, and infrastructure.

Tim serves as the webmaster for this website.

System builder and infrastructure guy. Aviary management specialist including F22 and Joint Strike Fighter ground power device designs.

Maisy Wong

Treasurer

Maisy is the IT director for the Registry of Vital Records and Statistics. It is one of the agencies for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Prior to the state employment, Maisy worked for Hewlett-Packard Company, Compaq Computer Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Dan Stolts MVP, MCSE, A+
Liaison to Culminis

Dan Stolts has had a long involvement in the user group community and is President of BayState Technology which specializes in IT system integration for the small and medium sized business markets.

Dan is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) which is a hard-earned and well respected certification within the general business community.

Training

When not juggling IT priorities, Pete can sometimes be found juggling at renaissance faires.  Past engagements have included renaissance-era sword combat demonstrations.  We simply address Pete as "Sir".
 

Dan Ouellette

Training

Having been involved in the IT community for over 12 years, Dan is working in the medical industry for Boston Home infusion where he's the IT and HIPAA security manager.

He runs a consulting practice at Wolf Den Lab (www.wolfdenlab.com). He's also an amateur photographer, novice swordsmith and avid Renn Faire patron.

Lucien Labrecque
Database Admin

Lucien Labrecque is a "first contact person" if a vendor wishes to engage with our user group.  Book reviews, raffles and product give-aways are also coordinated by Lucien.  If you wish to offer book or software review services, please contact Lucien at the email address below.  You may pick your own topic of interest and with books, you get to keep the book!

Lucien is a new Steering Committee Member for the Boston Area Server User Group. He is an MSCE and A+ Certified IT Professional who works for a large company, covering 3 offices.

Rick Zach, MCSE, MVP
Chair Emeritus

Rick Zach is the Chair Emeritus of both the Windows Server User Group and Boston User Groups but he is still a member of our steering committee.

Rick is the Chief Engineer of Boston's WCVB-TV ch-5.

One non-work diversion is ham radio with call sign K1RJZ.  In his former life, Rick was also found happily working as the Captain of a few evening dinner cruise boats in the Charles River & Boston Harbor.
